The Port Dalhousie resident pled guilty in April 2006 to three courts of sexual assault and one count of gross indecency, involving 12-to-14-year-old boys at exclusive boys schools in Toronto and St. Catharines in the 1970s and 1980s.
Police allege that since April 21, 2008, Inglis, 62, has attended public courses at the community centre. They also allege that his appearance at the community centre violates his two-year probation order that began this spring.
Police were notified of Inglis’ alleged appearance at the community centre after a reader of the St. Catharines Standard recognized him from news coverage. Inglis has also been profiled in Macleans magazine.
