Counter Pedophilia Investigate Unit

An Alabama City couple was arrested and charged with two counts of felony child abuse, according to a news release from Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin.

Johnnie Edwin Fox, 44, and Millie Kate Fox, 24, allegedly physically abused two children younger than 7 during a two-year period. The abuse took place in the Coates Bend community.

“The Sheriff’s Office has always made it a priority to take care of those who cannot care for themselves,” Entrekin said in the release. “It saddens our hearts every time we hear of abuse to innocent children.” (more…)

A MARRIED man who has been accused of child abuse has been described as a “fun loving” and “friendly” teacher by former colleagues.

Susan Wilkey and Barbara Probert are former colleagues of David Griffiths, 50, who is facing child sex abuse charges at Wood Green Crown Court.

Speaking about Mr Griffiths as a teacher, Mrs Wilkey told the court: “I wouldn’t say he was very strict. He was fun loving and enjoyed a joke with the children. It was quite a happy and relaxed atmosphere in David’s classroom.” (more…)
