This morning the fifth day of trial for the Perry family began with J. Runyon, Windie Perry’s attorney putting forth evidence geared at showing the jury,

Windie, 55,and her adopted daughter, Elizabeth, 23 Perry are charged in a multi-count indictment with severely beating and sexually assaulting two adopted girls over a two year period.

Ernest Perry, 68, had majority of his charges of child abuse and kidnapping dismissed on Friday and is charged with one count of especially aggravated kidnapping and two counts of aggravated child neglect. (more…)

A North Yorkshire children’s outdoor activity centre manager who pretended to be a woman in order to be accepted as a member of a nudist website which encouraged child abuse has been jailed for four years.

Jonathan Garner-Harris, a deputy director of the Marrick Priory centre in Marrick, near Richmond, was the ninth member of an international paedophile network to be dealt with by the courts.

The 37-year-old was investigated by Durham Police and pleaded guilty at Durham Crown Court to 20 offences. (more…)
