Suspect to judge: Child porn ‘relaxes him’

HOUSTON — A child porn suspect told a Houston judge Friday that watching child pornography was relaxing.
Bennie Richardson, 37, is charged with possession of child pornography.
Police say they found more than 600 videos and pictures of child porn on his home computers.
Richardson was reportedly in the process of downloading illegal videos when police arrested him last week.
Richardson was reportedly a Sunday School teacher and an active volunteer with the Pasadena Little Theatre.
Police initially reported that he was a Boy Scout leader, but the organization said they have no record of that.
Richardson is being held on a $600,000 bond

Bennie roommated with me in Pasadena Tx about 10 years ago. I found pics of nude children on my computer and through him out the door. I called the police the next day and made a report about the pics and even showed them and they did nothing! I had a 5 year old son at the time. He is now 15. When questioned he swears Bennie never touched him or did anything out of line.
